I’ll give you guys an idea of how bad I was before nofap, what this process has been like for me and what changes I’ve noticed in myself as a result of sticking with nofap for 90 days. First off I’m 26 years old and I’ve been dealing with a pretty serious porn addiction since I was 13. Until I started nofap I never made the connection between the anxiety issues that I have been battling with and my porn habits. My addiction was pretty bad.
Before starting nofap I would take days off from work and stay home looking at tranny and other shock value porn. I was at the point where I was questioning my sexuality. At one point I even started looking at gay porn to try to get off. It never did the trick though.
I started nofap after stumbling across this subreddit and watching the TED video on porn addiction. Going through this experience has been one of the most difficult yet rewarding things I have ever done. It’s changed my life and my relationships with those around me completely around.
Here’s a list of some of the physical/mental changes I’ve noticed after 90 days:
-Much less anxiety
-More discipline
-Improved memory and focus
-Increased sex drive with my girlfriend
-More assertive
-Better judgment
-No more desire to masturbate
Some of my accomplishments/changes in lifestyle:
-New job in the finance industry making much more money
-Passed all of the licensing exams I needed to get that new job
-Actually want to hang out with friends instead of staying home looking at porn
-Work out 5 or 6 days a week
-Reduced my drinking habits to once a week
To wrap this up you guys NEED to do this. For me what has really helped is to commit myself not just for 90 days but for at least a good six months, maybe even longer than that. Always aim higher than your mark.
It’s not easy guys but you have to push through. That second wind will come and before you know it you can put all this shit behind you and move on.
