Opsomming:This study was aimed to explore and investigate the relationship between personality traits and psychosocial issues associated with internet pornography in university male students. The study comprised of qualitative and quantitative methods. In qualitative, interviews were conducted from the university male students. In quantitative, indigenous scale on Psychosocial Issues Associated with Internet Pornography (PSIP) was developed and in subsequent phase main study was conducted by using newly developed scale (PSIP), Big Five Personality Scale along with Depression Anxiety Stress Scale for validation. The data was collected through purposive and snowball sampling directly from the university boys or through emails by posting confession on university and hostel pages. The qualitative results explored three categories: Psychological issues, Social issues and Mental illness. In quantitative, the result of factor analysis showed four factors: Anxiousness, Neurotic Guilt, Sexual Preoccupation and Low Self-esteem. Co-relational analysis revealed neuroticism has significant positive relation with factors of psychosocial issues while extrovert has non-significant relation. Furthermore, Neuroticism was a significant positive predictor of factors of psychosocial issues that were significant positive predictor of mental health issues in students.
