Age 23 - 1042 days: AMA. Time to pay it back to the Reddit Community
I just realized that I hit 1000 days last month. I also realized that today is my Reddit Cake Day! To celebrate, instead of Karma whoring and trying to get fake internet points, I thought I would do whatever I could to build up the community that helped me so much over the last few years.
For a little bit of background, I started when I was young. Probably 6 or 7. At my peak I was PMOing multiple times a day. A few years ago I was going through a lot in my personal life that was effecting me emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It affected much more than just fapping and PMO--it changed my outlook on self-discipline and growth. Shortly after, I realized I hadn't fapped in several weeks.
After that month, I started spending much more time with the girl of my dreams, changed my academic course to something I was actually passionate about, began dating said girl, graduated college, and now we're married and on our own and life is good.
There's already a lot of great advice in this thread, so I'm not going to start telling you all what you already know. Ask me anything you want!
