Qindra studime kanë lidhur përdorimin më të madh të internetit me shëndet më të dobët mendor-emocional dhe rezultate më të dobëta njohëse. Mbi 90 studime tregojnë varësinë nga interneti dhe përdorimin e pornografisë duke shkaktuar simptoma mendore, emocionale ose fizike. Unë gjithashtu përmenda se burrat i shohin gratë ndryshe pasi lënë pornografinë. Në mbështetje (të tërthortë) të kësaj, këtu janë mbi 40 studime që lidhin përdorimin e pornografisë me "qëndrimet jo-barazitare" ndaj grave .
