Very little thought or research has been directed to the topic of teen sexual addiction. This status quo is due to differences in opinion regarding the concept of sexual addiction as it applies to teens. This article examines this concept. Its definitions, definitional problems, epidemiology, etiology and prediction, prevention and treatment are described. менt is concluded that there probably does exist a phenomenon of sexual addiction that applies across the life course (including the teenage years), that deserves much more study.
