Firstly, I want to thank and congradulate each and every one of you guys and gals for having the courage to take up this challenge, and special thanks to Gary Wilson, the moderator of “yourbrainonporn” for his hard work and reasearch on the subject. Note that English is not my first language so please bear with me on my grammar mistakes. Also, long post and sorry if this subject has already been discussed!

This is my first post on reddit and i hope that what i am about to write can be of use to anyone in or outside this community. I want to warn everybody that excessive fapping is the promotor to many neurological diseases and general debility to wich I bring proof a few books (I’ll post them at the end of this report) and stopping this vice (by vice i mean everything related to masturbation, porn use, edging, and even excessive sex with a partner) is not enough to secure our total health and recuperation, but more on that in the books wich I will post (yes they are free).

This is my story: I started fapping at the age of 14 ( I’m 22 now) everytime before i went to bed because it helped me sleep. It soon became a vice and i ended up fapping to porn and imagination roughly 5 times a day for 5 years. I tried to quit when I reached 18 but I struggled with relapses until november 15 2010. That’s when i started my first reboot that lasted 2 years and 5 months I think (until August 18 2013). Now, because of my Christian Orthodox religion I had chosen not to engage in sexual activity until marriage (I’m just saying this because this particular view on life has led me to discover a disease that may very well threaten us all not out of some preachy need) so my first reboot was the hard mode type (I’ll share some tips further down, and yes, for everyone who is in doubt NOFAP WORKS and IT CAN BE DONE!) I’ll skipp the part that involves all the agonising pain of withdrawal to the most essential part. After 3 months or so I was a new man, the grass was greener, my strengh returned , girls noticed me more etc…..then….it happend. I had a wet dream. No biggie, i shook it of and the next week i had another one…. and another one and I continued to have more than weekly wet dreams (had once 4 in one night then 2 weeks later 7 wet dreams expanding one week and 2 days) for the whole reboot. My strenght faded, anxiety returned once again,my memory left me,my voice became a shriek, constantly fatigued, my face became yellowish, on every wet dream i became a sack of rage ready to destroy everything in my path, I became a husk of a human being and i continued to fall into the pit of depression until the 17th of August 2013 came and well.. so did I. I broke my reboot, fapped to porn ( I need to mention that I was on psych meds for depression and psychosis wich made ressisting urges almoast impossible and I advise you guys to caution).

Second reboot: started August 18th 2013 and continues to this day. Had a flatline around the 2nd week lasting to the 40th day. (I don’t know if I have ED or PE since I’m a virgin and I didn’t field test this). The wet dreams continued with more alarming frequency. I went to 6 doctors yet none took my problem seriously ( I live in a pour country, poor in wealth, virtue and knowledge). I tried everything, diet, exercise, mental focus, nothing stopped these emissions. I was almoast on edge, suicidal thoughts started to plague my mind when, this Christmas I came across a book that EXPLAINED EVERYTHING. You guys cannot believe the joy I experienced once I had read it and understood my situation. The disease I have is called Spermatorrhea. The dictionary says that this disease is defined by “abnormally frequent and involuntary nonorgasmic emission of semen” but the books and treaties on this disease say that the above is only but a stage of the disease. It doesn’t matter if you fap excessively or if you have excessive sexual activity with a partner, the risk of developing this disease is still there.

The books: From Christmass ti’ll yersteday I devoured 4 scientific books written by medics on this subject and I want to share them with everyone so that people won’t waste years searching for answers or worse, self treatment. One of the doctors who wrote these books said that after eliminating the vice of masturbation, it takes between 3 months to 1 year OF TOTAL ABSTINENCE for this disease to manifest. In cases of sexual activity, the disease will be slowed but masked at the same time, slowly progressing and manifesting itself with excessive wet dreams on top of sexual activity of the individual after 3 to 8 years since he stopped fapping. Doing Nofap is one thing, but if we have this disease (masked or not) we are in for the fight of our lives! Ok now the books (i’ll put the links here, cuz i have no idea if i’m doing it right :)):

These books bring every scientifical proof to the destructive power of sexual abuse and everything that I have stated above has these books as a source.

As a conclusion I will leave you guys with some tips in this fight for self-improvement:

  1. Exercise: I don’t mean go to the gym. Studies have shown that the sexual need is caused by hormones in the blood reaching the brain and stimulating it to a degree. Simply put that blood somewhere else. When you feel a craving, or chaser effect etc just go and drink a glass of water ( to thin the blood for better absorbtion of its nutrients by the muscles) then drop to the floor and do 3 sets of how many push-ups as you can (this is what worked for me) or any other exercise (cardio is good too) then drink 2 glasses of water. It’ll be a great help.
  2. Fasting. This is a great anti-craving weapon since it lowers the production of sexual hormones due to changed diet. Fasting was the weapon that eliminated the pain of triggers, chaser effects and any craving whatsoever. By fasting i mean NO MEAT, DAIRY or ANY animal product (i do it for 40 days 2 times a year and every wednesday and friday) Do not exceed 40 days. The first effects begin to show in 2 weeks or so.
  3. Hops tea (humulus lupus). This is an anafrodysiac. It will kill any libido whatsoever, the effect is not permanent but it’s a great weapon to have especially in the beggining of a reboot. Feminine men must not drink this. Well that’s about it, hope I didn’t bore you too much and have a good read.

TL:DR: Excessive sexual activity either by fapping or with partner can cause a dissease called Spermatorrhea that starts with excessive wet dreams, advances with emissions durring the day (on urination or stool, with or without sensation), causes depression, fatigue , anxiety and if left untreated it leads to insanity, and in the last stages epilepsy and a trip to an early grave.

The excessive WD pattern has not stopped… I had the last ones yesterday (3 in one night without sensation). But from 3-4 in one week i managed to get 3 in a day once every 2 weeks by doing this:

  1. I stopped sitting as much, did more of my activities standing, walked more. Sitting for too long causes some sort of tension on the pelvic region.
  2. Worked out more
  3. This one really did the trick: cold sitz baths, 2 times a day for 8 minutes in water of less than 60 degrees fahrenheit. One in the morning and one before I go to bed. I read that these help with the congestion of the prostrate and help with irritation of the seminal ducts.
  4. Hops tea. It sedates the nervous system and reduces excessive sexual cravings (first week and a half i drank 1 cup, then 2 cups, and the last week of the month i drank 3 cups). I read on the box you should not drink this for more than one month.
  5. NO SPICY FOOD WHATSOEVER!
