I have seen benefits, mostly that I’m more confident. I feel better overall. Not the “I’m on top of the world!” feeling, more of the “today is a good day” sort of thing 🙂 I’m sixteen, so I’ve still got a long way to go.
I’m up to 53 days, which pretty much blows my previous record of 29 days out of the water. It’s not been easy all the time, but it has been worth it 100%. I’m not out of the woods yet, not by a long shot, but I’m getting there.
The single most important thing I can say is this: you have to enjoy the rewards of not fapping more than you enjoy the fapping itself.
I’m young, but after a few years of struggle, I’m finally getting there. You can’t force yourself into that mindset on a whim, however much you try. It must be a true desire not to do it.
That being said, there are things that can be done to help you on your way. It’s been recommended by others a thousand times before, but I’ll throw my 2 cents in too: cold showers help. Not sure if it’s a willpower building exercise, or just physically cooling you down, but it has helped me a lot.
As to so called “superpowers”, I’m not so sure. I’m just a better, more confident me. That’s great in itself, but I won’t blow it out of proportion. However, my circumstances are not typical to most people on here (living cross-culturaly in a 3rd world country, gf overseas), so results may vary.
The best of luck to all of you, whatever your journey.
