I’ve been thinking about the day when I finally get to write a post here about my own NoFap journey for a very long time now. It hasn’t been easy as you guys know better than anyone, but I’ve now realised that with the right mindset and motivation, ANYTHING is possible as long as you’re honest with yourself.
I’m not going write an essay about my life story and how ED has had a huge impact on my life over the past years, as I know you can find that in thousands of other posts in /r NoFap. I want this to be helpful for those of you who are, and have been where I was 300 days ago. So for the record: I am 20yo and I’ve been PMO’ing daily over the past 7-8 years.
I had tried and failed NoFap a couple of times before, and I didn’t really enjoy it at all. My previous record was 10 days, and I didn’t really think that i’d ever be able to do this over a longer period of time. Reaching 90 days was unthinkable, and 300 impossible. Fapping was a hobby for me. Just like soccer is others. This sounds really sad, but as I said in the beginning: You have to be honest with yourself. Stop pretending to be someone that you aren’t, and be honest. Fapping was something that I enjoyed doing, and it played a huge part of my life back then.
80% Cured? Day 1-50
I remember the first day of NoFap. It was on the day of my final macroeconomics lecture of the semester. I started noFap much on the first day of my exam prep period, which turned out to be the hardest 50 days of my life. After doing some research, I came across a few reddit posts on supplements to help cure ED. I looked the supplements up on Examine.com and bought what I believed to be the healthiest and most effective on the same day. This played a huge part of my rapid 50 day recovery.
Supplements I’m not going to go into detail on the supplements. It takes 5 minutes to google the effects etc.
*Panax Ginseng (NOW, Panax Ginseng 1000MG per day. 1 capsule in the morning, and 1 in the afternoon. )
*L-Arginine (NOW, 1000MG per day)
*Magnesium (NOW, 400MG per day. Taken just before bed.)
*Zinc 50MG per day).
*Maca Powder (NOW, 3g per day).
Warning: This makes you VERY VERY VERY horny. So if you don’t have the proper motivation yet, I would recommend taking only magnesium and zinc. Especially the combo of maca powder and l-arginine.
Day 50-300 It doesn’t get any easier after 50, but I started having sex at day 55, which helped me ease up a little. I’m not going to say that everything you read about superpowers is true, but there are definitely something that happens to your mind after the first 2 months. I started working out in february this year, and i’m already 4 months into a 5day/week workout routine. I’m eating healthy because I want to, and I’ve never felt better. Sleep, a focus on health, fitness, and the supplements above changed my life! Which is why i’m going to leave you guys on a high note here: “You don’t set out to build a wall. You don’t say ‘I’m going to build the biggest, baddest, greatest wall that’s ever been built.’ You say, ‘I’m going to lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid. You do that every single day. And soon you have a wall.”
