Across all of the methodologies reviewed, there is substantial evidence of an association between the use of pornography and harmful sexual attitudes and behaviours towards women.
There were four key themes of harmful sexual attitudes and behaviors associated with the use of porn:
- Viewing women as sex objects.
- Shaping men’s sexual expectations of women.
- Acceptance of sexual aggression towards women.
- Perpetration of sexual aggression.
