Abstract

This chapter provides a detailed and updated review of the use of neuroimaging methods to investigate sexual arousal in healthy human males. The chapter reviews 10 positron emission tomography or functional magnetic resonance imaging studies focusing on sexual desire and/or arousal as the experimental condition of interest published between 1985 and 2003.
