I just wanna say you all rule. It’s so fucking amazing that all these people are coming together to gain control of their lives and reach greater happiness. I know it feels like you will never get out of this, or that you’re constantly failing and always relapsing, but know that those feelings are there because you CARE. You care about treating yourself and others better by abstaining from porn and going through this very difficult journey to cleanse yourselves. I found my most profound insights regarding myself and addiction came after a relapse, so don’t kill yourselves over it, know it was bad, but honor it and learn from it.
What I’m most amazed about the whole nofap thing is that it is taking place in the very same place that porn is rampant, on the internet. It’s like a Alcoholics Anonymous holding meetings in a bar, but we’re succeeding! Props. I’m so grateful for this community although I was just a lurker when I was rebooting.

P.S. For any doubters in my 21 years on this earth, quitting porn was easily the best decision I ever made, as well as the greatest accomplishment I’ve ever achieved. The positive effects are astounding. I don’t like the whole “superpower” mentality, but I know I have a definite edge over my peers because of this. More importantly, I’m way happier!
