abstract
I-Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) ifakiwe kuhlelo lwamanje lweDiagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-Fifth Edition (DSM-5). Esifundweni samanje, ubudlelwano phakathi kokusekelwa komphakathi, abangani abaziwa kuphela nge-Intanethi, ikhwalithi yempilo ehlobene nempilo, kanye ne-IGD ebusheni kwahlolwa okokuqala ngqa. Ngale njongo, intsha eyi-1,095 eneminyaka esukela kwengu-12 kuya kwengu-14 ihlolwe ngombuzo ojwayelekile mayelana ne-IGD, ukwesekwa komphakathi okuzibonayo, inani labangani elaziwa kuphela nge-Intanethi, kanye nempilo ehlobene nempilo. Ababhali benze ukuhlolwa okungavunyelwanga kwe-t, ukuhlolwa kwesikwele, kanye nokuhlaziywa kokulungiswa kokuhleleka. Okutholakele ocwaningweni lwamanje kungahlinzeka ngamaphoyinti okuqala wokwakhiwa kwezinhlelo zokuvimbela nokungenelela zentsha ethinteke yi-IGD.
